Will Grayson, Will Grayson

So I absolutely love David Levithan. He is an author. And you might recognize him because he is one of the authors for Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist with Rachel Cohn and if you haven't seen the movie, you are crazy. Love it. Well, now I am reading a book of his called, Will Grayson, Will Grayson. Its pretty good. He co-wrote it with John Green whom I've never heard of.

Its a story about these two boys with the same name meet each other and then fate takes them on a crazy ride or something like that. I'm almost halfway through the book and they haven't met yet. There's a lot of character development, which I really like about David books because it gives me a sense that these characters could be real, or I could play them in a movie.

Which reminds me, I am gonna try to write him a letter to see if I can get the rights to one of his books and we can make it into a movie! That would be exciting right? The book in question is Naomi and Ely's No Kiss List. I would be playing the role of Ely. Fantastic book. I definitely recommend it.

  1. I was about to get this book for my nook color =) I haven't read any of his books yet, but I do love "Nick and Norah's: Infinite Playlist"--the movie, of course! After reading your post I just might get it =)

You should really read novels by David Sedaris, Neil Placky, and Alex Sanchez. My partner and I love their books. We especially like Placky's books because he has a series set in Hawaii (Kimo's stories) and my partner is from Oahu and half the things in the stories are very real, setting wise and the people he talks about.

We should form a book club--that would be interesting.. Oh and I just read that your married--awesome--My partner and I were caught up in the whole civil union thing but decided to wait till we graduate and at least be in our careers! The only reason why would want to get married is the benefits and possibly adopt us some kids =)

  2. I LOVE lgbt books and I was looking for some gay ones (i usually read lesbian) and saw Will Grayson, Will Grayson. I was going to buy it, but I didn't know whether it was good or not. When you're done, can you post a review? If you have the time and whatever? :D

PS: In case you were wondering, I love lgbt books because the characters tend to be more interesting than straight characters. O__O
