I want to become a Yoga teacher...

If I don't become a famous singer. I would love to become a Yoga Instructor.

Just something about the practice makes me so... blissful. It's so relaxing and really tests your patience and body/mind controllability. I took one Yoga class last year and I loved it so much that I've downloaded DVD's and pdf's of Yoga how-to's and Yoga for Dummies so I can learn more about the practice.

I've been looking online and it shows that the Yoga teacher training tuition is pretty expensive! I'm glad that some of them really have a monthly payment plan because I could never afford any of those, especially not right now.

My goal is that in 5 years, I will become a certified Yoga Instructor with the Yoga Alliance and open a Yoga studio in West Fort Worth. That would be awesome. To lease a space to myself and on 3 days, dedicate it to Yoga and the other 4 days can be Music Lessons and whatnot. I still haven't figured out the details but that would definitely be something that I would love to do.

It also seems pretty plausible in my head. Of course I still have to purse my singing career because it's my ultimate passion but Yoga is becoming one as well. At least I have a back-up plan...

What do you guys think?

  2. I think it's a fantastic back-up plan.
I've always liked the idea of yoga, but I don't have nearly enough patience for it. I can do all the positions, but I just get annoyed. It's too quiet and.. relaxed for me haha.

  3. You could make your own yoga videos with your own music playing in the background. My wife (Dmild) has watched a bunch of your videos and we both agree that you're a good singer. So why not do both?

By the way, what is it that your shirt says? I can't make out what one word on there says.

  4. @Jag I think I can do both as well! LOL.

@Ashley I think it's a great plan too, but it's expensive! I love Yoga. It's a lot of fun for me testing out my patience and stuff since I hardly have any.

  5. Sounds cool :D I don't quite like yoga though. I only like the relaxing poses that require little strength. I.e. barely any. XD
