Getting back into the blogging scene...

I am thinking about getting back into the blogging scene. It's been a while since I've done it and I really want to get back into it. There's been a lot of things going on in my life and I feel like I should just put it all out there and save it at least for memories. First of all, I am now an ABO Certified Optician with my job! I am so happy that I passed and got it. I feel so accomplished because I finally did a program that is worth something. It feels so nice to have been through the process and actually learn your trade and then get a certification. It makes me so happy! I moved into a different apartment. I wish that I could live closer to my job now that they transferred me to our other location, but that is just going to be too much for us right now. We really don't need to think about moving at the moment. Maybe in another year or two we can start again. My husband is not working anymore. He is now going to school to become a nail tech at the Ft. Worth Beauty School. He starts on Monday and is going to be doing that for a couple of months. After he is done with school it will be around Christmas time and we are going to be going to Arizona to visit my family down there. My moms birthday is also on Christmas Eve so it'll be nice for her to have all her kids for that occasion. I am quite excited for that. Josh is going to stay with my mom for about 2 weeks after that to train with my mom who has her own nail salon. He is going to learn hands on with real customers how my mom does her business and how to treat customers and what not. Im really excited for him. It does suck though that we will be away from each other for a couple of weeks but this is going to be good for his future career of being a nail tech and then opening his own nail salon. Me on the other hand. Sigh. I am just... I don't know. Lost is not the word I am looking for. I absolutely love my job. I just feel that it might not be enough for me. I do have an interview for a wedding planner assistant and getting into that part time. I think that would be a good part time hobby that I could do to earn some extra cash. I just want a little more creativity to be brought out. More hands on. I am also considering going back to school. I would love to take a design course. I just don't know what kind. Interior, fashion, or graphic. Interior would be great because I love observing rooms and thinking of ways I could make it better or of ways that it could have been made to have better functionality. Fashion design would be awesome too. I love to draw pretty girls in dresses and other outfits and if I did that it could definitely help me piece the things I would like to make together. A fashion merchandising degree would help too if I wanted to open up my own optical. Or take over my bosses job. And then there's the graphic design degree. I love graphic design but it's just too much for me. I love but don't love sitting in front of the computer. And then there's the wedding planning thing. Maybe I'm just jumping the gun right now. I am taking and thinking things too fast at the moment. I have a whole year to think things through before I can go to school. AHHHHHH! Just so much on my plate right now. I should probably just focus on the now and slow down with thinking about the future.

Day 4 – Your favorite photograph of your best friend.

This is my best friend. He is the most amazing person to ever set foot on this planet. He is also my husband. We have been through so much together and it's so crazy about how things have happened between us. If we weren't best friends we definitely would not be in this relationship with each other. I am so grateful for him because my life couldn't be any better. Sometimes I want to punch him in the face, but I like my face and I know he is not afraid of punching anyone back so he will definitely do that to me! He is so amazing. I love him very mucho grande. I love this picture of us. The colors make us look so cute. We are flawless. AND it looks like we are happy in this picture. =]

I absolutely love to crochet... am I weird?

Hey guys. Well, I don't know about you guys, but one of my favorite hobbies is to crochet! I love to do it and I've made dozens of things. I am currently working on a scarf for my husband, but I have made other scarves and beanies. Those are unfortunately the only things I've made so far, but thats okay. I'm still learning and I want to make more things! What do you guys like to do? What are your favorite hobbies?

I know this is horrible but I am gonna be selling the stuff I make as well. Scarves for $5 and beanies for $7 plus shipping and handling of course but they are well worth it! Made with love and care. =]. I will put pictures of them up soon once I stop being lazy...

After I get up, I should prolly start cooking dinner as well as clean the apartment! GAHH!!!

Day 3 - Your idea of your perfect first date.

Hello everyone! How are you? I'm doing pretty good. I am sitting here watching the first Yu-Gi-oh! movie. It's so good. I might have to watch the rest of these shows again. Anyways, the third day is to tell everyone what my idea of the perfect first date is....

Well, I already had an amazing amazing first date so I won't go into my idea for my perfect first date. My first date with my husband. It was about a year ago. The week after we got together we went to the Italian Inn. It's this really cute spot at 6323 Camp Bowie Blvd # 123, Fort Worth, TX 76116, you can visit the website at theitalianinn.com. Josh and I absolutely loved this place. The food was great and not too expensive and you can request for your waiter/tress to sing! They are actually all very good singers also so it's a great perk to the place. But the thing that really gets us going is that you can sit in booths that close and you can write all over the walls. So bring your markers and paper because with the very underground and intimate atmosphere, you'll want to write love letters all over the place. I wonder if the love letters we wrote to each other are still displayed under the table glass?

Having that dinner really sealed the deal with us. It was so romantic and lovely, the waitress was amazing, and we talked about our future together and ate amazing food. We most definitely need to go again soon, maybe for our anniversary to remind us of how we fell in love and go back to where it first started.

TUCSON TRIP WAS AWESOME!!!!

Yo!
So basically my trip to AZ was the bomb. Except of course, the bus ride sucked. I was really upset that I had to take the bus but it's okay. It was definitely worth it. Seeing my family all together again and having fun just made everything great. My mom turned 40 this year! Her birthday was the day before Christmas. I missed my husband terribly though, but I think it has just made us closer and made us realize how much we really love each other. I got to see a couple of my old friends which was quite exciting! Tiffany and I got Pho and talked about a lot of stuff that's been going on in each others lives. I also met up with my amazing friend Cheri who got a boob job and they look great! We took a bunch of pictures that I put on facebook. If you wanna add me, just search for my name! I ate a lot as well, ughh I need to go work it off for my new years resolution! Lol. But all in all, I had a great trip. I just wish that my husband could've been there.
