Day 30 – A photograph of youself today + three good things that have happened in the past 30 days

I look extremely ugly today. I just woke up and blah, whatever. Okay, so 3 good things that have happened to my in the past 30 days:

1. PARTY HARDY. I partied twice this month. The first time, we went to Vice and I got extremely drunk, I threw up in the champagne bucket... I felt so bad! It was so crazy but I had so much fun! Then for my other cousins bday this last weekend, we went to Spencers Corner and I danced a heck of a lot. I'm about to post about it after this one.

2. More students to teach!. Yayyyy I love getting new students! More money and more spreading my knowledge! Love it!

3. TAXES. Yayyy for getting my W-2. Tax refund sucked ass but it's okay. Money money money for me!!! =].

Thats pretty much all it! =].

Day 29 - Something I can never get tired of doing

As if you guys didn't know... it's SINGING!!! I sing all the time, AND I'm a morning person. So I wake up singing, like the girl from the movie Enchanted. My husband hates it and tells me to shut up all the time. But I can't stop! It's just so much fun to do! I guess you can call me a chipper person in the morning.

I also sing all the time that whenever I go to any of his families houses and I start singing, they tell me to shut up. Which is sad for me! I love to sing all the time and I always have songs stuck in my head. I really don't know why I do it. It's crazy but I enjoy it, so it's all good!

The only thing that sucks about it is that sometimes I don't even know I'm singing. I will just randomly start singing and not realize it and people will tell me to shut up! =[. So sad. Or I even keep singing after my voice is tired and cracked up. Which is horrible for your voice. I also start talking in a sing song-y voice and incorporate singing when I talk and people ask me why I do that. But I enjoy it, so it's all good! =]

Day 27 - A picture of me from last year and how i've changed since then

I like to think that I've changed a lot since last year. I've become a better husband and partner. Much better than last year. I have been with him since April of 2009 so our get together anniversary is coming up soon, but it doesn't really matter now since we got married. I can't believe we are going on two years now. It's been such a tough ride and I know that it's still just the beginning. I can't wait to face the rest of my life with him.

I am healthier now. I put on some weight in the past couple of months. It's really sad to say the least but oddly enough, I am thankful for it. People say I look healthier now, even though they don't see under my clothes. Now I just need to focus on toning up and maintaining a healthy lifestyle by exercising and eating healthier. So far I've progressed but we shall see more in the long run.

I am happy with my job. Well, last year I was happy with my job as you can see in the picture above. There were a lot of good times when I was working where I was working. I am thankful to have that. Although, I really hated working there towards the end of my employment there. I was being asked to do too many things for such a small pay, I was unhappy with some of my co-workers. The drama was just never ending and I am actually blog to have been let go. It was becoming such a negative thing in my life.

Now I am a piano/voice/guitar instructor for all ages and let me tell you that I am very happy to be where I am. I definitely need to work harder and more to my abilities as a musician but that will come in time. The students I have are all amazing and I can't wait to have more students!

I am closer to my family. I talk to them more now and try to hang out with them more because friends just aren't dependable these days. I do have friends, don't get me wrong. But my friends have been there in the long run.

So that's pretty much it. Just a couple more days and I'll be DONE with this! How crazy and exciting!

Day 26 - Photo(s) of where I've been too

MMMkay. So today, on Day 26 of the 30 Day Blog Challenge, is a photo of where I've been too. Well I decided to add more than one photo because you can't really grasp the whole experience of the Philippines in just one photo. Well I'm sure you can but I didn't take a picture like that. Instead, here are some pictures of my trip to P.I. for my dads wedding back in July of 2010. The picture above is of a thingy in the middle of the street. It was right after I got off the plane and I went to my step mothers Bachelorette party and it was absolutely crazy!

There was a a lot of singing involved and a stripper that got completely naked! So awkward! But my aunt protected me! LOL it was so funny. But I enjoyed it.

The picture above is of the same thing except from a different angle. I added 'Chow King' to the picture because it's my favorite place to eat when I'm in the Philippines, but my dad wouldn't take me there. Boo. Sucks. Oh well. I will get my chance to go when I go again in the futur-o!

Okay so now, this picture above is of Villa Escudero. I took it while we were eating breakfast and you can see the little cabin/house thing that we stayed in over the water. It was beautiful there. Swimming and dining. I think the best thing about it was you could eat over the water. Literally! You would go down these stairs and you would see a waterfall. Right where the water fall like... finishes, in the space at the bottom, there was tables and chairs where you could eat. You took off your shoes and went into the water and got your food and sat and ate! All in the water. It was really cool. It's was an amazing experience.

This picture depicted above is of one of the malls in P.I., it was huge! Freaking 8 stories high! Of just shopping and what not. I also got to go to Mall of Asia, which is the biggest mall in all of Asia. Let me just say, they had like hotels and what not camped out all over the mall so people could stay there. It took like a whole week to see the whole mall and let me say that we didn't see even half of it! I want to come back and do more shopping because everything there is freaking cheap!

The last picture above is the reception at my dads wedding. It was an amazing reception and I got to sing and make a toast! I sang "Always and Forever" by Luther Vandross. I felt that I did alright, lol. Well the main point of the picture is that the little card says "I Love You" in Ilocano which is one of the dialects in the Philippines. On every table, there was a different card that all said "I Love You" in all different languages. it was so cute!

So this is what i'm thinking....

I'm thinking that after the 30 Day Blog Challenge, I want to do a daily blog thing. Maybe at first it'll start off as a every other day type of thing. I wanna do something like:


Mondays - Recap of the weekend. Nuff said. Just a recap of how my weekend went and everything it entails.
Wednesday - Musical Wednesdays. Where I'm going to have like musical tips and advice. Something that will help people have more musical knowledge.
Friday - Here's the tricky part, I wanna do a Health & Fitness and/or Dating and Relationships blog this day. I don't know which one I should do. I still have a couple of days to think about it.


But that's about it! What do you think? And in between will just be random things about me or reviews or just anything I think is interesting. But I want to keep a schedule that will be fun to do and focus on for those days. And I'm thinking that I want Tuesdays and Thursday to be my active days where I'm not on the computer as much.

Day 24 - A Photo of something that means a lot to me

Hey guys! This is a photo of something that means a lot to me: My Wedding Ring! Okay, funny story. My husband and I pretty much eloped when we got married. We didn't tell anyone at all and drove from Dallas, TX to Las Vegas, Nevada. It was like a 20 hour drive. We were almost there when we realized that we didn't have any rings! We were already in debt... about 500 bucks in debt and so we went to WalMart and got some regular rings and promised each other that in a couple of years, we are gonna get married again and get real rings.

So thats what means a lot to me. My wedding ring. Symbolizing our long and hard journey of commitment and love for each other.

Day 23 - 15 Facts About Me!

Here are some facts about me. I don't know if you guys already knew these about me but I though they were pretty interesting. LOL.


1. I love chocolate.
2. I'm a teacher.

4. I am Married.
5. I am 100 Percent Pinoy.
6. I live in Texas.
7. I have a lot of family.
8. I am an aspiring singer/songwriter.
9. I like to act as well.

11. I love to crochet.
12. Children aren't my favorite thing but I'm getting used to them.
13. My favorite food is any kind of asian food.
14. I love Horchata.
15. I am not a big fan of Mexican food.

Day 22 - A letter to someone who has hurt you recently

Okay, well it says that I need to write a letter to someone who has hurt me recently... I have really been hurt recently but here's a letter to someone who has hurt me recently...

That's pretty much it. =]

Day 17 - A photo of me and my family!

This is a picture of me and my cousins for my cousins bday! Some person told us that we look like the new and improved Kardashians lol! How sweet of them! We had so much fun this night. We started drinking like at 7pm and we were so drunk by 9pm. I bought this vodka that my friend just came out with called Zev Vodka and a huge bottle of Amaretto because I couldn't find a bottle of Frangelico. We had birthday cake shots and they were so yummy! I made like 5 shots of those, a cup of Amaretto sour, and two cups of Malibu Pineapple with Cranberry! It was super yummy. Then we headed over to Vice around 11pm and there was no one there! So our drunk asses got on the dance floor and started dancing! We got the party started! We just had a lot of fun. I don't remember most of what happened except for the fact that I got really drunk and was throwing up all inside their buckets were they put the ice and bottles in and by the time I was done, it was filled up. I'm so surprised no one talked to me or even kicked me out. It was crazy.

Then my cousin peed in the elevator.

My husband passed out and threw up all over my other cousins car.

I passed out at the strip club and some stripper came up to me telling me that I need to wake up and asked me if I didn't like what I saw... and my cousin yelled at her and told her that I was gay and she left.

Then I stole some of the strippers money.

I felt bad.

Then there was breakfast that was free and it was really good.

But it was weird because there was so many naked girls getting food.... awkward!

Day 14 - A TV show that i'm currently addicted to

I absolutely love all the drama about this show. It's amazing. 7 BAD GIRLS stuck in a house for a social experiment and whatnot. It's so crazy and all the fighting is great! LOVE IT!!!!

I'm going to be reviewing all of the next episodes so y'all will know whats up as well and when the reunion comes, I can see go back and see how everyone changed and who didn't and who was fake and who wasn't and base my decision on who I liked the most.

Day 13 - Favorite Musician and why???

My favorite Musician is Mariah Carey... Why? Because she is amazing. She has the voice of an angel. 5-octave range. She is bi-racial and writes her own music. She is the artist of the millenium. Best selling female artist. More number one hits than any solo act. Need I say more?

She has inspired a lot of musics top artists and singers and even today she is relevant in the music industry. She can belt she socks off of anyone. I don't know. She just has that star power that makes her music so relatable and amazing.

Her song 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' is number 1 on the Holiday charts every year since 1996! And will be for more years to come. She never has to reinvent herself and always comes back... I mean, she never left! and I don't think she will go either.

She also has her acting career which I love. I love her movies, all of them are really good too! Well I think that they are. Her movie Precious was really good.

I don't know what I would do without her. I don't even think that I would be singing if it wasn't for her!

Day 5 – A photo of yourself two years ago.

Here is a picture of me from 2009. Thats considered 2 years ago right? ;) It's from Halloween. Do I look any different? I dont think I do. Other than I am fatter than I used to be. And there's my husband. It's about a month after we got married. =]. Look at how happy we were.

Day 4 – Your favorite photograph of your best friend.

This is my best friend. He is the most amazing person to ever set foot on this planet. He is also my husband. We have been through so much together and it's so crazy about how things have happened between us. If we weren't best friends we definitely would not be in this relationship with each other. I am so grateful for him because my life couldn't be any better. Sometimes I want to punch him in the face, but I like my face and I know he is not afraid of punching anyone back so he will definitely do that to me! He is so amazing. I love him very mucho grande. I love this picture of us. The colors make us look so cute. We are flawless. AND it looks like we are happy in this picture. =]

Day 3 - Your idea of your perfect first date.

Hello everyone! How are you? I'm doing pretty good. I am sitting here watching the first Yu-Gi-oh! movie. It's so good. I might have to watch the rest of these shows again. Anyways, the third day is to tell everyone what my idea of the perfect first date is....

Well, I already had an amazing amazing first date so I won't go into my idea for my perfect first date. My first date with my husband. It was about a year ago. The week after we got together we went to the Italian Inn. It's this really cute spot at 6323 Camp Bowie Blvd # 123, Fort Worth, TX 76116, you can visit the website at theitalianinn.com. Josh and I absolutely loved this place. The food was great and not too expensive and you can request for your waiter/tress to sing! They are actually all very good singers also so it's a great perk to the place. But the thing that really gets us going is that you can sit in booths that close and you can write all over the walls. So bring your markers and paper because with the very underground and intimate atmosphere, you'll want to write love letters all over the place. I wonder if the love letters we wrote to each other are still displayed under the table glass?

Having that dinner really sealed the deal with us. It was so romantic and lovely, the waitress was amazing, and we talked about our future together and ate amazing food. We most definitely need to go again soon, maybe for our anniversary to remind us of how we fell in love and go back to where it first started.

Yes, I had Dominoes pizza. It was awesome. It looks really gross but it was yummy and I totally forgot about this post until my husband reminded me of it. LOLOL. I hope you guys enjoyed it! Excited for tomorrow.

Hey guys! This is my first post for the 30 Day Blog Challenge! Yayyy! It's put up a photo of yourself and a description of how your day was. Well I didn't know if you were supposed to put a picture of yourself for today as well as a description so I'm just gonna assume... yes, and I didn't take a picture of myself today so my picture is from a while ago.

So today was an alright day. I started the day off waking up at around 6am and I went to go put air in the tires for my husband. He worked today at 7am and my routine for the day that he works early is I will get up and make coffee, then go and warm up the car for him. Damn, I'm such a good husband huh? LOL, I know. Well after that, I went into my room and went to sleep. Afterwards, he came back home and we decided to go return a whole bunch of clothes that we recently bought when we went to Houston. I kinda liked them but they were just too expensive for my taste. So we went to the mall and returned then and then turned right around and spent it on other things. Like other cuter clothes with more quality too. We bought some deep v-neck shirts, which I have been looking for forever!!! I mean how are shirts so expensive like v-necks when they have less clothing! Its crazy. We also bought our god daughter a shirt too as well as some thermals. I like these better. Maybe i'll model them for you guys later! Then I decided that we needed to go and do laundry so I called up my cousin and asked her if we could do it at her apartment, so that what I'm doing now! It's exciting. I'm also watching a whole bunch of reruns of The Game on BET.
